The Clareti Cash Reporting software solution has been awarded the SWIFTNet Ready Real-Time Account Information Provider 2006 label.
This industry-proven solution can be used in-house to implement directly SWIFTNet Cash Reporting Standards via the distributed model. Alternatively, for organisations that don't want the upfront cost of buying, building and then maintaining the infrastructure in-house, we can provide an outsourced service, securely hosted by Cable & Wireless, which supports the same distributed model.
This software solution and outsourced service can support the SWIFTNet distributed model with the same level of functionality and service availability as the Clareti Cash Reporting Service, which utilises the hosted model to aggregate and distribute real-time information.
In-house implementation
Many tier-one banks prefer to implement and manage in-house any software directly related to customer service provision. These organisations should have no problem with the level of integration and hardware infrastructure required to support the real-time query/& response method of information distribution via SWIFTNet.

Data can be captured from all your systems in batch or real-time. Browser-based administration and sophisticated service monitoring ensure high-quality service delivery, and a scalable, redundant architecture provides fault tolerant operation and disaster recovery support.
Outsource to managed service
Nostro-provider banks of all sizes, looking for a cost-effective solution, may choose instead to outsource their SWIFTNet Cash Reporting requirements to Gresham's managed service. Provider banks can go live in a short time frame, without the need to worry about software licence and implementation costs.
The Clareti Cash Reporting software is at the heart of the outsourced service and can take input in a comprehensive range of SWIFT message formats delivered using FIN, InterAct or FileAct. It can also accept non-SWIFT messages, such as the American BAI format or completely custom formats, delivered in files via SWIFTNet FileAct. No changes will be necessary to existing back-office systems that can already output intra-day and end-of-day information.
The outsourced service transforms information received from banks into the XML format required for SWIFTNet Cash Reporting. It holds data securely in anticipation of user queries and/or may push information to users in accordance with user instructions. Provider banks can manage the service via sophisticated browser-based controls while leaving operation and support to us.
When your customers send queries to the outsourced service it is to one of your SWIFT BICs and they receive replies, or messages pushed to them, from your BIC.
Hosted model
The Clareti Cash Reporting Service (formerly known as Cable & Wireless Real Time Nostro) offers real-time access to aggregated data from many of the largest banks in the world via a browser . But for back-office integration, the service relies on SWIFTNet. The Clareti Cash Reporting software solution allows subscribers to access data for each provider bank from a single SWIFTNet address, and to receive data delivered via InterAct or FileAct. Providers to the hosted service share the same benefits as providers to the outsourced service (see above) and enjoy a commercial model that puts more of the costs on the customer.
